Lucid Dreamer Tactics Explained What you need to do often is try to fly or walk through a wall to lucid dream. Obviously you would not be able to do these things in reality but when you are in the habit of doing these and you do it in the dream, you would be able to fly or walk through the wall successfully instantly making you aware of the fact that you are dreaming to lucid dream.

The second technique is known as MILD. This is where one realizes that he is falling asleep and needs to recover from the sleep. It helps in recognizing dreams and interpretation of signs for better control to lucid dream. A great way for working out this technique is to set the alarm clock for about 5 hours of continuous sleep to lucid dream. When the alarm goes off after five hours, lay awake for an hour trying to recall what you dreamt about all this while. Then slowly go back to sleep repeatedly affirming yourself that you are going to continuing seeing the same dream. This way you will be taking full advantage of the REM stage of your sleep for lucid dreaming purposes. Cycle Adjustment Technique Created by Daniel Love, this involves you to set your alarm an hour and a half before your normal wake up time and continue with that for a few days to lucid dream.

When you get accustomed to waking up at that time, set the alarm to your previous usual time.

This will result in your mind being ready to wake up early and it will likely be awake in your dream. Wake-initiation of Lucid Dreams (WILD) This is the most interesting approach to lucid dreaming since you do it with full consciousness having control for total manipulation.

It is essentially like watching a movie the only difference being you let your body fall asleep and wait for your adventure dream to begin instead of waiting in front of a blank screen for the movie. Instead of just seeing your dreams what if you could have manipulated them in going wherever you wanted and doing whatever you desired that are otherwise impossible in the physical world.

Yes, that is what lucid dreaming is! This sounds great the only thing left is the how. You can accomplish lucid dream state in one of two ways. One, you can have a dream initiated lucid dream (DILD); this is where while dreaming you become aware of the fact that you are dreaming to lucid dream. In this way, you bring a level of consciousness into the dream.

The second way is having a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD); where the dreamer goes from being awake, to being asleep with no change in consciousness. In other words, the dreamer enters their dream as if it were a door, rather than just "waking up" in a dream.

And other top favorite between lucid dreamers, is going back to sleep for an hour or two once you wake up in the morning. This method is favored due to the dreams being incredibly close to lucid dreams. In fact, it is not uncommon to wake up after having one of them wondering if you were in fact dreaming or not. Waking up an hour to or two before your usual time can be taken care of simply by setting your alarm clock to go off at the desired time. If you set your alarm clock, say, to go off at at 4AM when you aren't getting up until 6AM, you can then wake up, turn off the alarm, go back to sleep for a couple of hours and have a strong lucid dreaming experience. Along these lines, knowing your own sleeping patterns enables you to figure out the very best times for you to do lucid dreaming to lucid dream. If you are one who struggles with getting your sleep during normal sleeping hours, simply tell your mind that sleeping equals lucid dreaming.
