Experiencing The Lucid
Dream Is Incredible!
Very simply put, a dream in which you are conscious that you are dreaming
is known as The Lucid Dream. The expression 'lucid' in this context means
aware or conscious. But the extent of your 'lucidity' can vary according
to how ‘stable’ the dream experience itself is, how much you manage to
remember about the dream when you wake up, and also how much influence you
have in taking control of the dream itself.
It is this last factor which is the most remarkable and amazing thing
about experiencing The Lucid Dream. Being able to identify the fact that
you are having a dream is astounding. You can decide which direction you
want the dream to go in and there really are no limits to what experiences
you can have!
Just take a moment to consider the possibilities. When you are The Lucid
Dreaming, everything feels and looks real, but you are aware that you are
dreaming and will be safe no matter what happens in your dream. This is
the kind of personal virtual reality experience which no computer yet
created can come close to.
The Lucid Dreaming is an incredible skill that more and more people are
mastering. Having The Lucid Dream is something almost everyone experiences
very occasionally, but just imagine how exhilarating it would be if you
could The Lucid Dream whenever you want to!
The Lucid Dreaming gives you the opportunity to do anything you've ever
wanted to do; to experience anything you've ever wanted to experience. You
can meet your favorite celebrities of the present and the past, visit
other planets, have wild erotic experiences; anything which is within the
power of your imagination is possible in The Lucid Dreaming.
But experiencing regular and controlled The Lucid Dreams can actually be
fairly complicated to achieve. Certainly until recently people would spend
months going through an instruction training and self-conditioning
procedure prior to obtain familiarity to their first The Lucid Dream.
Often people would manage to have but brief instants of lucidity, whereas
others never succeed in it at all.
So are there any simple ways of experiencing The Lucid Dream?
There are those who maintain that certain foods can foster The Lucid
Dreaming if eaten before bed; among these are mustard, dairy products and
orange juice.
Some other people have noted that pickles, ice cream, popcorn, and even
fish have assisted them. These may not be as effective in aiding The Lucid
Dream occurrences. The idea that some people claim is that these foods
containing high sugar, high fat, and even high acid content, prepare your
brain for the session. They even claim that they prepare your brain to
recall the The Lucid Dream afterwards. The main issue is that these foods
hamper the body and minds ability to produce restful sleep.
Can Technology Assist You?
There are new technologies which can assist you in having The Lucid
Dreams. There are sleep masks and eyeshades which turn on LEDs when REM
sleep is detected; the idea is that the red light of the LED will let
dreamers know that they are dreaming; this is the first step to taking
control of the dream.
One of the most exciting developments in The Lucid Dreaming comes to us
from the world of audio technology. Audio researchers have discovered a
process called binaural beats, in which different frequencies are played
into each ear.
Binaural frequencies help to synchronize the hemispheres of the brain and
make your brain more likely to reach REM sleep, which is needed in order
for The Lucid Dreaming to happen.
If you have always wanted to try The Lucid Dreaming for yourself, binaural
sound presents the quickest and easiest way to begin.
The Lucid Dream - A

is actually dreaming. In simple words, while in dream, you are aware that
all the events are not happening in fact, or 'It’s Just A Dream!' kind of
situation. There is certain amount of control you can exercise while The
Lucid Dream, which is not the case in normal dreams.
Being able to control the course of your dreams is nothing less than a
life-changing, liberating experience. All things that you felt could hold
you back in life just melt away and you are in control of every situation.
Is The Lucid Dream as straightforward as all that? Is The Lucid Dream
something which can be experienced by anyone?

the ability to do this, if you commit yourself to learning how to harness
this powerful medium while expressing your inner desires.

after something specific which can help you with other areas of your life,
or do you just want to turn your dreams into a playpen of the imagination?
Whatever your reason for wanting to learn The Lucid Dream, know your goal
and be determined to reach it.
Once you understand your reason you will begin the learning process of how
to lucid dream. You will need to learn Dream Recall. This is the ability
to recall a dream from the previous night. You will not be able to lucid
dream until you can recall a dream.
This can be a slow process, but success is achieved by maintaining a Dream
Recall Register, or 'dream journal', where you write down your dreams in
as much detail as you possibly can, especially upon waking. Slowly but
surely, you will in this way train your mind to be able to remember even
the minutest details of your dreams. You are subconsciously opening the
doorway between day and dream, and this is the bridge you cross into The
Lucid Dream.
Many people have used hypnosis to dramatically reduce the time they need
to train their subconscious mind to engage in The Lucid Dream. Many times
merely one of two hypnosis sessions permit one to consistently remember
all of their dreams, so they are prepared for The Lucid Dream.
When you are The Lucid Dream, you may suddenly awake. Don't worry! Recall
the details of your dream and try to go back to sleep and continue the
dream in the way that you want. When you awake, you may just be surprised!
If successful, your dream will have been under your control and your mind
will have a new found power.
Another productive means for having lucid dreams is to go back to sleep
for a few hours after you arise in the morning. These dreams will leave
you wondering if they were really dreams or if you have self-styled your
thoughts to manifest in form. These are the dreams that are closest to The
Lucid Dream.
You can easily set an alarm to go off a couple of hours before your
scheduled wake-up time. And when the alarm sounds, just wake-up, switch it
off, and go to sleep in order to enjoy lucid dreams. In this regard, it’s
extremely useful to keep track of your sleeping patterns so as to discover
the best time to have lucid dreams.
The Lucid Dream can be a helpful practice for those with sleeping troubles
such as insomnia. When you are having a hard time getting to sleep, remind
yourself that sleep means The Lucid Dream; and your subconscious mind will
make sure that you get to sleep quickly.
The art of The Lucid Dream was very time consuming to learn. However, the
recent advances in sound technologies have made it much easier for anyone
to experience The Lucid Dream.
A lot of people agree that listening to binaural audios is definitely the
easiest and most consistently successful way of experiencing The Lucid
Dream.
These work by playing slightly different frequencies in each ear and have
the result of deeply relaxing the listener and bringing their brain waves
to the correct frequency for The Lucid Dream to occur.
Previously the only way you could learn to lucid dream was by using
meditation techniques that may take years to master with strength of mind
and perseverance. Before enjoying this technology most individuals found
it too much of a struggle to persist.
If you combine listening to binaural sound waves, hypnosis and
affirmations to prepare the subconscious mind, The Lucid Dream can happen
very soon after your first attempt.
