What Is It Like To Be A Lucid Dreamer? During waking hours, do reality checks such as walk into a wall or spread your arms and try to fly. If you can, then you are dreaming and if you can't then you are awake. It will teach your body to do this in your dreams my lucid dream. MILD is the second lucid dreaming technique wherein one has to realize that he is falling asleep so as to remove himself from the process. This makes it possible for him to recognize and interpret signals in his dreams for better controlling purposes. One can do this by setting his alarm clock to about 5 hours of sleep my lucid dream. Once your alarm has gone off, remain awake for one hour and try to remember what you dreamed about and then permit yourself to go back to sleep while deciding that you will continue your dream. If you do this you are taking advantage of what is known as your REM stage of sleep which is the most common for lucid dreaming. Cycle Adjustment Technique This method was created by Daniel Love in this technique you set an alarm to awaken you 90 minutes before you normally would awaken my lucid dream.

This is done for approximately a week. After a week, you begin to alternate between normal wake up and early. On the normal waking days, the body will come alert earlier thereby increasing the chance of lucidity. Wake-initiation of Lucid Dreams (WILD) This technique involves maintaining mental alertness even as your body shuts down for sleep.

Think of it as if you are in a movies theater, with the film soon to begin; your closed eyelids are like the black screen just before the movie starts.

Instead of being helplessly caught up in whatever dreams your subconscious mind decides to hand you, how about you controlling the action? A lucid dreamer can do this.

It is a new and fun world, a lot like being inside your own video game where you can fly or wish for something and have it. If you want to become a lucid dreamer, how do you manage it? There are two main ways. The first is what's called a dream initiated lucid dream, or DILD. That's when the dreamer realizes they're dreaming in the middle of a dream, restoring their consciousness without leaving the dreaming state itself my lucid dream. The second way is via the WILD or the Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams. In this method the person enters the lucid stage while he is mentally awake.

Of course the difference between a lucid dream and reality is that in a lucid dream one cannot die or become injured, irrespective of what you decide to get up to. This is, for all practical purposes, you inborn virtual reality world and you make up all the rules. The depth of realism and imagination is not hemmed in by a budget or computer graphics. Wouldn't it be nice to have a lucid dream, to be aware you are dreaming and control what happens? Of course you do, but how does one learn to do this? You'll need to think about why you want to be a lucid dreamer, as well as the benefits of it. First, we'll take a look at normal sleeping my lucid dream. Why lucid dreaming? Sleep itself is not so interesting; you get ready for bed, lie down and close your eyes my lucid dream. Then you may have uncontrolled dreams or not and several hours later you awaken my lucid dream. There are no limits other than your imagination. Unlike in the past, experiencing lucid dreams on a regular basis is no longer as complicated as what it once was. Admittedly, people often had to spend months at a time receiving instruction and learning how to condition themselves before they could experience lucid dreaming.

Even then, while some managed to achieve a certain degree of success, others simply failed miserably. So what are the actual methods used to induce these two types of lucid dream experiences? Dream Recall Remembering your dreams is the first step; this is known as dream recall. It will help you to realize when you are in a dream because we often have the same dreams and see the same or similar objects in our dreams. This is one of the best ways to learn the art of lucid dreaming my lucid dream.

Keeping a dream journal is the best way to learn this skill. A dream journal is for writing down anything which you can remember about your dreams for future reference. You should do this immediately after waking up; the longer you wait, the harder it will be to recall.

'Conscious Dreaming' or Lucid Dreaming involves remaining aware during a dream.

That is, when you are having a lucid dream, you know that you are dreaming; but you are still 'inside' the dream, not standing outside looking in.

In dreams as in life, awareness gives you great power, and you have power over the course of your very own dreams. The undeniable fact is; that feeling of power which one experiences when one can control the direction of a dream, is something directly out of metaphysical existence my lucid dream.
