First you will have to learn the process of Dream Recall, which is recalling a dream the night before.

You cannot achieve lucid dreaming unless you can remember a dream. It can be slow going to master this skill. The best way to proceed is with keeping a dream journal, sometimes called a Dream Recall Register. You write down your previous night's dreams as fully as possible lucid dreaming flying. It's most effective to do this when you first wake up. In time, you will realize that you've trained your mind to be able to recall even the smallest details of your dreams. When you reach this stage, you are ready to make the journey into lucid dreaming lucid dreaming flying. However this is not the case since though our body sleeps at night, we are not totally unconscious since a part of our brain called the subconscious remains awake while the other parts of the brain sleeps. Initially it may take some effort in remembering all the miniscule details but with time and practice your memory will sharpen and the dreams will start repeating themselves. The method used here is telling yourself that you'll remember something in your dream.

Once in the dream, you'll see this object, recall what you told yourself, and realize you're dreaming. Wake-Back-to-Bed (WBTB) This method requires you to fall asleep first, set your alarm 5-6 hours later and wake up at that point in time. Read or do something that keeps you from falling asleep in the next hour or so and then go back to bed again. According to Stephen LaBerge, there is a 60% success rate of this technique lucid dreaming flying.

The reason why is that you would have woken up during the process of sleep, meaning that your mind is not fully aware of this, and are still in the middle of REM cycle lucid dreaming flying. So basically, it's like going to your mind and telling it that you want to lucid dream lucid dreaming flying. Wouldn't it be nice to have a lucid dream, to be aware you are dreaming and control what happens? Of course you do, but how does one learn to do this? So, what is so good about being a lucid dreamer? What would you gain from it? In order to understand the advantages of being aware when you are dreaming, we need to examine what regular sleep actually is. How is lucid dreaming different? Have you ever considered the process of sleep before? Every night you make preparations, crawl into bed and go to sleep lucid dreaming flying. You may have dreams or nightmares or all may just be dark for a few hours, it is rather boring isn't it? The human body has a built in requirement for sleep. It rests the body so that we are prepared to continue our lives lucid dreaming flying. Without it, there is strong evidence for insanity.
