Lucid Dreaming As A Stress Buster
Lucid Dreaming and Conscious Dreaming are one in the same. It is the awareness that you are in fact dreaming. In other words you are aware that what you are experiencing is occurring in a dream, while you are having the dream. Lucid dreaming allows you a particular amount of control that you do not have while dreaming normally.
Lucid dreaming is having the power to control the direction of your dream which is an element of your metaphysical existence. You will notice that all the limitations of reality seem to swiftly cease to exist.
But of course, if this power is so great, the question is: can it really be learned by just about everyone? Or does one have to have special, unique talents?
In fact, lucid dreaming is not too difficult of an endeavor at all. You just need the drive and desire to learn this powerful method for bringing forth your innermost wishes. And, there are tried and true ways of mastering this power.
Perhaps most important of all is that you need to be perfectly clear regarding your personal objective in trying to master lucid dreaming. Are these lucid dreams for your own private playground, or do you have something more serious in mind? It doesn't much matter, just as long as you've got it crystal clear in your mind's eye.
That's the prerequisite for learning how to lucid dream. Once you have it down, you'll start on Dream Recall. This means you will clearly recall the dreams you had the previous night. Without Dream Recall, you will never get to the level where you can do lucid dreaming.
Now, Dream Recall, or remembering your dreams, can take a lot of time; but, you'll tremendously help yourself if you use a dream journal. Place the dream journal beside your bed, and when you wake up in the morning immediately grab it and start writing down everything you can about your previous night's dreams, starting with the one you were most recently having. Slow as it is, in time you'll realize you are progressing within this process, and becoming ever more able to remember your dreams in detail.
Now, using hypnosis can really speed you forward along the road of preparation to get you to the point where your subconscious mind opens you up to lucid dreaming--even with just a session or two of hypnosis.
Now, be prepared for suddenly waking up during a lucid dream. We all might wake up during any dream. But if this happens to you, you'll find the dream you awakened from easy to recall; and all you do then is relax, go back to sleep, and resume the dream. You'll realize then that you have the power of lucid dreaming within you!
On occasion, you may suddenly find yourself wide awake during a lucid dream. However, you will easily be able to recall all the essential details of your dream with the power you have achieved thus far. You can simply relax and fall back asleep, while you continue in the desired direction in your dream. Upon awaking you will realize that you have experienced the power of conscious dreaming the previous night.
Lucid dreams can be readily induced by going back to sleep for a couple of hours after you wake up in the morning. These dreams are the closest to lucid dreams, because they seem to be borderline between actual dreams or your conscious thoughts manifested in anticipation of an event for that day. Just set an alarm clock to go off a couple of hours before you will be waking up for the day, then turn it off and go back to sleep to experience lucid dreaming.
Sleeping disorders like insomnia are quite often done away with by lucid dreaming. If you have insomnia and can't get to sleep at the usual or needed hours, all you need do is tell your mind that sleeping is the equivalent of lucid dreaming, and your subconscious acts to remove or integrate all thoughts which are keeping you from your needed sleep.
It's always been hard, however, to actually take the time to prepare the mind for lucid dreaming. But recent advances in sonic technology have made it all more egalitarian.
Recent advances in sound technologies have made it much faster and easier for one to learn lucid dreaming.
A lot of people agree that listening to binaural audios is definitely the easiest and most consistently successful way of experiencing lucid dreaming.
Before this technology was made available, lucid dreaming had to be ultimately induced by meditation techniques; and these usually took several years to learn, on top of the fact that their austerity a touch too much for most people who then quit trying to master lucid dreams.
Before the discovery of this system of binaural sound waves you could only achieve this level of relaxation by many years of meditation study.
When binaural sound waves and hypnosis are used for preparing the subconscious mind it is very possible for you to experience lucid dreaming sooner.
