Training For Lucid Dreaming
Lucid Dreaming is a technique by which one remains aware that one is dreaming while a dream is taking place. For this reason, it's sometimes known as \"Conscious Dreaming\". What this means for you is that when you are lucid dreaming, you know that you are having a dream, in the same way that when you step into the bus terminal you know you're in the bus terminal and not in the countryside or out on the street. And, because of your awareness, you are able to exert a great deal of control over what happens in your dream.
This is nothing short of the metaphysical. Your limitations are lifted; you can do the \"impossible\".
Can it be so simple? Can you lucid dream and then make those things that in the waking hours seem impossibly difficult come to life in reality.
As a matter of fact, lucid dreaming isn't all that hard, as long as you have a burning desire to learn these amazing, tried and true techniques of expressing your innermost desires.
In order to master the art of lucid dreaming, you must establish your objective clearly. For instance do you only want a private haven in the form of lucid dreaming or do you want to learn for a precise reason of developing your skills? You must have a clear objective in mind, no matter your reason for learning to lucid dream.
Once you have this, you can begin actually learning lucid dreaming. It begins with Dream Recall, or remembering a dream you had the night before. Only when you're able to do this can you progress into learning actual lucid dreaming.
Also, many have discovered that hypnosis, and even only a session or two, can drastically cut down on their necessary prep-time for making their subconscious mind ready to experience lucid dreaming.

Now, be prepared for suddenly waking up during a lucid dream. We all might wake up during any dream. But if this happens to you, you'll find the dream you awakened from easy to recall; and all you do then is relax, go back to sleep, and resume the dream. Occasionally you may find yourself wide awake while you are lucid dreaming. You will be able to easily recall all the vital details of a dream with the power you have so far achieved. It's not difficult; just set an alarm clock to go off a couple of hours before your regularly scheduled waking. Wake up to the alarm, switch it off, and then return to sleep and experience some vividly lucid dreams.
This is easy to do by setting your alarm to chime just a couple of hours before you would normally wake up. Once the alarm goes off, simply wake up and turn it off and then go right back to sleep. You can enjoy your lucid dreams. In order for you to pinpoint the best time for lucid dreaming it is most helpful to keep a record of your personal sleeping patterns.
Do you know you can overcome such sleeping disorders as insomnia by learning to lucid dream? If you are one who struggles with getting your sleep during normal sleeping hours, simply tell your mind that sleeping equals lucid dreaming.
