How to induce Lucid dreaming-A dreamers tale!

Lucid Dreaming and Conscious Dreaming are one in the same. It is the awareness that you are in fact dreaming. In other words you are aware that what you are experiencing is occurring in a dream, while you are having the dream. Lucid dreaming allows you a particular amount of control that you do not have while dreaming normally.

This truly metaphysical experience enables you to make \"living artworks\" out of your own dreams as the walls of your usual limitations are now just sand under your feet.

But of course, if this power is so great, the question is: can it really be learned by just about everyone? Or does one have to have special, unique talents?

Well, as powerful as it is, lucid dreaming is really not that hard at all. But you do need fierce determination to condition your mind in the right way; you've got to want it.

Not only that, you have to have very defined objectives about exactly what you want to accomplish with your lucid dreaming. Is this about recreation? Is it about solving a problem whose answer eludes you in your waking life? Is this about enhancing your creativity? It's up to you, but it's got to be clear. Your objective itself must be lucid!

Once you have this, you can begin actually learning lucid dreaming. It begins with Dream Recall, or remembering a dream you had the night before. Only when you're able to do this can you progress into learning actual lucid dreaming.

It can be slow going to master this skill. The best way to proceed is with keeping a dream journal, sometimes called a Dream Recall Register. You write down your previous night's dreams as fully as possible. It's most effective to do this when you first wake up. In time, you will realize that you've trained your mind to be able to recall even the smallest details of your dreams. When you reach this stage, you are ready to make the journey into lucid dreaming.

The time required for preparing the subconscious mind to experience lucid dreaming can be reduced greatly with hypnosis for some individuals. Generally one or two hypnosis sessions allows you to continually recall all your dreams. Your mind is conditioned for lucid dreaming once this happens.

Now, you can get to lucid dreams more easily by simply going back to sleep a few hours before you intend to wake up for the day.

It's not difficult; just set an alarm clock to go off a couple of hours before your regularly scheduled waking. Wake up to the alarm, switch it off, and then return to sleep and experience some vividly lucid dreams.

If you set your alarm clock, say, to go off at at 4AM when you aren't getting up until 6AM, you can then wake up, turn off the alarm, go back to sleep for a couple of hours and have a strong lucid dreaming experience. Along these lines, knowing your own sleeping patterns enables you to figure out the very best times for you to do lucid dreaming.

You can actually fight off sleeping disorders such as insomnia by lucid dreaming. If you struggle for sleep during normal sleeping hours you can tell your mind that sleeping equals lucid dreaming. You mind will take care of your thoughts that might prevent you from going to sleep.

Recent advances in sound technologies have made it much faster and easier for one to learn lucid dreaming.

Listening to binaural audios is one of the most reliable and fastest ways to have lucid dreams for many individuals.

Binaural audios work by playing various degrees of frequencies into each ear. The results are deeply relaxing for the listener and then shifting their brain waves to the same frequency for having lucid dreams.

Before the discovery of this system of binaural sound waves you could only achieve this level of relaxation by many years of meditation study.

When binaural sound waves and hypnosis are used for preparing the subconscious mind it is very possible for you to experience lucid dreaming sooner.
