Don't Believe All You Hear About lucid Dreaming

\"Conscious Dreaming\" or Lucid Dreaming involves remaining aware during a dream. That is, when you are having a lucid dream, you know that you are dreaming; but you are still \"inside\" the dream, not standing outside looking in. In dreams as in life, awareness gives you great power, and you have power over the course of your very own dreams.

Lucid dreaming is having the power to control the direction of your dream which is an element of your metaphysical existence. You will notice that all the limitations of reality seem to swiftly cease to exist.

Is it as simple as that? Can you experience lucid dreaming and manifest those things that seem impossible or difficult while being awake in reality?

As a matter of fact, lucid dreaming isn't all that hard, as long as you have a burning desire to learn these amazing, tried and true techniques of expressing your innermost desires.

Before anything else, you've got to be perfectly clear about your objective for your own lucid dreaming. Is this just going to be your infinite playground, or is there some specific problem you want to solve through the power of the lucid dream? This is personal, but you have to be clear about it before you can move forward. So, you have that clear as a bell's peal in your mind; now begins the earnest process of learning this craft, which begins in Dream Recall; that is, recalling a dream of the previous night's sleep experience. Even those who claim they \"never dream\" can and must learn this before they can truly experience lucid dreaming.

Once you understand your reason you will begin the learning process of how to lucid dream. You will need to learn Dream Recall. This is the ability to recall a dream from the previous night. You will not be able to lucid dream until you can recall a dream.

Now, Dream Recall, or remembering your dreams, can take a lot of time; but, you'll tremendously help yourself if you use a dream journal. Place the dream journal beside your bed, and when you wake up in the morning immediately grab it and start writing down everything you can about your previous night's dreams, starting with the one you were most recently having. Slow as it is, in time you'll realize you are progressing within this process, and becoming ever more able to remember your dreams in detail.

Many people have used hypnosis to dramatically reduce the time they need to train their subconscious mind to engage in lucid dreaming. Many times merely one of two hypnosis sessions permit one to consistently remember all of their dreams, so they are prepared for lucid dreaming.

Occasionally you may find yourself wide awake while you are lucid dreaming. You will be able to easily recall all the vital details of a dream with the power you have so far achieved. Simply allow yourself to relax and go back to sleep. You can continue your dream in your desired direction. You will begin to realize that you have experienced the power of conscious dreaming the previous night, after you wake up.

Another productive means for having lucid dreams is to go back to sleep for a few hours after you arise in the morning. These dreams will leave you wondering if they were really dreams or if you have self-styled your thoughts to manifest in form. These are the dreams that are closest to lucid dreaming.

Insomnia can be cured with lucid dreaming, too! If you can't get to sleep when you put your head down on that pillow, all you need to is suggest to your mind that to sleep is to lucid dream, and you'll find your mind will take care of everything and make it so you can sleep soundly.

You can actually fight off sleeping disorders such as insomnia by lucid dreaming. If you struggle for sleep during normal sleeping hours you can tell your mind that sleeping equals lucid dreaming. You mind will take care of your thoughts that might prevent you from going to sleep.

Now, people from all over are finding that the fastest and most reliable way to learn lucid dreaming is via listening to binaural audios.

Binaural audios play slightly different frequencies in each ear in stereo. This results in a deeply relaxed state and a receptive brainwave configuration for the listener, who now can experience lucid dreams (assuming his mind was already prepared as described above).

Binaural audio recordings work in stereo; a different sound frequency is played in each ear at the same time, phasing the brainwaves correctly and inducing deep relaxation in the listener, opening them up to lucid dreaming.

Before the discovery of this system of binaural sound waves you could only achieve this level of relaxation by many years of meditation study.

It is possible to experience lucid dreaming soon by listening to binaural sound waves combined with hypnosis to prepare your subconscious mind.
