Lucid Dreaming and Facts and Figures

Lucid Dreaming and dreams or Conscious Dreaming is the art of being aware that one is actually dreaming. In simple words, while in dream, you are aware that all the events are not happening in fact, or 'It’s Just A Dream!' kind of situation. There is certain amount of control you can exercise while Lucid Dreaming and sleeping, which is not the case in normal dreams.

The power of having complete control over the direction of your dreams is something straight out of metaphysical existence. Suddenly, all the limitations you ever felt in life just cease to exist.

But this begs the question: can it really be so easy? Is this accessible to all? If it really is that easy why doesn't everybody do it?

Lucid Dreaming and is not so difficult to practice. There are various studies that prove you can do this, if you really want to learn how to use this powerful medium of expressing your inner desires.

You need to know what you hope to achieve through Lucid Dreaming and. Are you after something specific which can help you with other areas of your life, or do you just want to turn your dreams into a playpen of the imagination? Whatever your reason for wanting to learn Lucid Dreaming and then, know your goal and be determined to reach it.

Then starts the actual process of learning this art. Firstly, you need to learn a process, called Dream Recall, i.e., recalling a dream you had the previous night. Unless you remember a dream, you can’t achieve the stage of Lucid Dreaming and move on.

This can be a slow process, but success is achieved by maintaining a Dream Recall Register, or 'dream journal', where you write down your dreams in as much detail as you possibly can, especially upon waking. Slowly but surely, you will in this way train your mind to be able to remember even the minutest details of your dreams. You are subconsciously opening the doorway between day and dream, and this is the bridge you cross into Lucid Dreaming and sleep.

Many people have used hypnosis to dramatically reduce the time they need to train their subconscious mind to engage in Lucid Dreaming and sleeping. Many times merely one of two hypnosis sessions permit one to consistently remember all of their dreams, so they are prepared for Lucid Dreaming and conscious sleep.

When you are Lucid Dreaming and sleeping, you may suddenly awake. Don't worry! Recall the details of your dream and try to go back to sleep and continue the dream in the way that you want. When you awake, you may just be surprised! If successful, your dream will have been under your control and your mind will have a new found power.

You can also induce Lucid Dreaming and then by going back to sleep just a couple of hours after you get up in the morning. This type of dreaming can cause you to wonder if you were really dreaming or if you have somehow manifested your thought-forms into reality. Dreaming at this time is the closest you can get to actual Lucid Dreaming and awake sleep.

This is easy to do by setting your alarm to chime just a couple of hours before you would normally wake up. Once the alarm goes off, simply wake up and turn it off and then go right back to sleep. You can enjoy your lucid dreams. In order for you to pinpoint the best time for Lucid Dreaming and awake dreaming it is most helpful to keep a record of your personal sleeping patterns.

Whenever you are struggling to sleep at the normal sleeping hours, you just need to tell your mind that sleeping equals Lucid Dreaming and, and your mind will take care of all the thoughts that are preventing you from falling asleep.
