Lucid Dreaming - Healing Through Your Dreams What if you could control your dream rather than the other way around? A lucid dreamer is someone who can do exactly that; someone who is not a passenger but a driver of their dreams. This sounds great, but how can you become a lucid dreamer? There are two ways to reach this state � one is by having a DLID, or dream initiated lucid dream lucid dream technique. These are instances where the dreamer has taught themselves to recognize that they are having a dream and start to assert control over the direction of their dream. The second way is having a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD); where the dreamer goes from being awake, to being asleep with no change in consciousness lucid dream technique. Place the dream journal beside your bed, and when you wake up in the morning immediately grab it and start writing down everything you can about your previous night's dreams, starting with the one you were most recently having. Slow as it is, in time you'll realize you are progressing within this process, and becoming ever more able to remember your dreams in detail. However your mind often remains conscious on some level, even while you are sleeping, leading to lucid dreams or normal dreams, depending on the level of consiousness. Lucid dreaming is not something that everyone experiences or can master easily. It can be learned with proper techniques over a period of time. A good way to start lucid dreaming is by remembering whatever we have dreamt. We can draw images of the things that we recall and it is best if we keep a pencil and paper close to our bed so that we do not waste much time after we wake up lucid dream technique.

In the beginning you may not recall all the details. That's not a problem. However, with constant practice, you will find dreams repeating themselves.

This will enable you to completely record your dream lucid dream technique. Make this a habit and soon you will have all your dreams recorded and can refer to them when you want. You may be fantasizing about something that you really want badly, such as a promotion, or a new home. This may be impossible in real life, but in your lucid dreams where you control the outcome, you may see yourself already doing the new job and details of it, or vividly see you moving into the house you want to purchase, for example lucid dream technique. Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD) This method was developed by top lucid dreaming researcher Dr. Stephen LaBerge.

The idea is to affirm to yourself that you will remember something when you see it in a dream � then when you do, you will realize that you are dreaming and begin to assert control over your dream.

WBTB refers to Wake Back to Bed In this technique, you sleep and set your alarm for only a few hours from the time that you go to bed.

Upon awakening, don't go right back to sleep � stay awake for about an hour, then go back to bed lucid dream technique.

In studies done this method has 60% of the time. When you are interrupted in the middle of sleep, you are interrupting rapid eye movement sleep lucid dream technique. This is the time when dreams are the most active lucid dream technique. Therefore, you stop in the middle of your best dreamtime only to return to sleep a short time later, improving your chances of entering lucid dream state. Do you want to dream lucidly? Knowing that you want to have a lucid dream is a good start, but it's not all you'll need to do. There are several different methods you can use. You'll need to think about why you want to be a lucid dreamer, as well as the benefits of it. First, we'll take a look at normal sleeping lucid dream technique. Why lucid dreaming? Sleep itself is not so interesting; you get ready for bed, lie down and close your eyes lucid dream technique. Then you may have uncontrolled dreams or not and several hours later you awaken. The sleep we normally have fulfills the purpose of allowing us to rest up for the next day.However, what would it be like if you were able to control your dreams?
