A Lucid Dream Is Fun!


For those unfamiliar with the term, I have good news; Lucid Dreaming is actually a pretty simple concept. A Lucid Dream is a dram in which you are aware that you are dreaming. The degree to which your Lucid Dream is lucid is dependent on how much of the dream you can remember once you awaken, how stable the dream experience is and how much control you have over the dream.

Having control over your dream is the amazing thing about the experience of Lucid Dreaming. Knowing that you are dreaming even while in the middle of a dream is something which is hard to compare with anything else. You are in control and can decide the direction things go and other than your imagination, there is no limit to what you can do.

Take a minute to consider the possibilities. While everything that happens in a Lucid Dream may seem real and can be experienced by all of your senses, there are no lasting effects to your actions; you can do anything you want without fear of injury in a Lucid Dream and there are no limits on the things you can do. This is truly a virtual reality experience which no other can even come close to.

Lucid Dreaming is an incredible skill and many more people are learning to experience it. The Lucid Dream is very rarely experienced by those who are unaware of it or who have not taken the time to learn how to do it. Can you imagine how fun and thrilling it would be to be able to have a lucid dream whenever you wanted to?

Lucid Dreaming lets you do anything you've ever wanted. You can meet celebrities, have unrestrained erotic experiences, visit other worlds; if you can imagine it, it can happen in your Lucid Dream.

Being able to Lucid Dream whenever you want is an ability which people once had to spend a very long time to learn. People would spend months and months in training before they had their very first Lucid Dream. Some people found that no matter how hard they tried, they were never able to have a Lucid Dream.

Some Simple Ideas that May Produce a Lucid Dream

Some people have found that eating certain foods right before a sleep session has encouraged a lucid dream to occur. On the list of foods that seem to be successful for this process are: Orange Juice, Milk, Cheese, and mustard. You could try these just before heading to bed.

Other foods are less effective but are still thought to help; pickles, ice cream and popcorn. These foods do have the drawback of having a lot of salt or fat – meaning that they are less likely to produce restful sleep.

Can Technology Assist You?

There are new technologies which can assist you in having Lucid Dreams. There are sleep masks and eyeshades which turn on LEDs when REM sleep is detected; the idea is that the red light of the LED will let dreamers know that they are dreaming; this is the first step to taking control of the dream.

The most exciting developments have been in audio technology. Sound waves at slightly different frequencies are played in to each ear of the listener – a technique known as binaural beats. This can open the experience of Lucid Dreaming to many people.

By listening to these binaural frequencies, the hemispheres of the brain are synchronized and the brainwaves are put into the REM sleep state, which is the proper state to have Lucid Dreams.
