Dream Recall If you'd like to lucid dream, perhaps one of the most successful way of doing so is known as dream recall. Dream recall is simply the ability to remember one's dreams. By remembering your dreams, you are able to recognize them when you are sleeping, because most likely, you will have the same dream, or at least aspects of it, more than once dreaming sleep. Writing down everything you can recall dreaming, this is called keeping a dream journal. The more you do this the more likely you will be to remember your dreams. A Lucid Dream offers you the chance to have any experience you can imagine. This strategy is designed to take full advantage of REM state, which is the best time for a lucid dream. Once the alarm sounds take an hour to write down everything that you remember dreaming. You can then go back to sleep and tell yourself to continue that same dream. To get into this correct frame of mind if you will there are a few tricks you can use. Focus seems to be key so try to focus your mind on things like your breathing, counting, perhaps chant or meditate. In a way, you are practicing self-hypnosis dreaming sleep. Use this technique when you are not extremely tired, perhaps during a late nap. Technology has moved on in recent years, and there are various devices like dreaming masks and other scientific appliances which contain such things as strobe lights to induce lucid dreams. The best and easiest way to achieving the state of lucid dreaming is by using headphones dreaming sleep.

Of course, many of these foods are not conducive to restful sleep due to their high fatty acid, fat and salt content dreaming sleep. Now, using hypnosis can really speed you forward along the road of preparation to get you to the point where your subconscious mind opens you up to lucid dreaming--even with just a session or two of hypnosis. When you are lucid dreaming, you may suddenly awake. Don't worry! Recall the details of your dream and try to go back to sleep and continue the dream in the way that you want. When you awake, you may just be surprised! If successful, your dream will have been under your control and your mind will have a new found power. There is one last technique to be discussed, but you will need binaural beats playing through headphones to make this work. Different beats play in each of your ears through the headphones and that keeps your brain tuned in. This is the Ace technique. Have your headphones and binaural beat recordings at your side for the night you LAN for lucid dreaming.

Set the alarm to wake you up after around 6 hours of sleep. When the alarm rings, go for a walk of 10 minutes or do some activity such as writing on a journal dreaming sleep. Don't turn the television on during those ten minutes because it is not an activity that wakes up the mind dreaming sleep.

Once ten minutes have passed put your headphones back on.
