We tend to operate under the assumption that our dreams are something entirely out of our hands. We think of them as a mysterious happening which we do not fully understand, much less have the ability to control. However, these nightly journeys made by our subconscious are something which we can indeed take control of. What does Dream Control Mean?
Dream control only means that you have full knowledge of what you are dreaming, and through lucid dreaming, you become able to manipulate what goes on in the dreams. At the same time you are sleeping, you are able to recognize that you are going through a dream, not real events, and you can completely control all the activities being shown to you, even to a finale.

Lucid Dreaming: Methods of inducement.
Binaural audio is a new technology which has been proven effective in helping people to reach a lucid dreaming state. Binaural audio involves listening to two different frequencies simultaneously. When the listener hears these two frequencies, they begin to relax and their brainwaves synchronize with each other, which induces the REM sleep state which is needed for lucid dreaming and dream control.

Through this your mind becomes in total control of what is happening as you dream, this means you will be in no way harmed because it is only in your mind and of that you are in control of.
Starting a dream journal can also help prepare you for lucid dreaming. Keep this by your bedside and as soon as you wake from a dream, write down everything you can remember from it. Once you have been doing this for a while, you’ll begin to start lucid dreaming – remembering is the first step to dream control.

According to the experts, lucid dreaming has one possible drawback. As in real life, if you have too much of a good thing, this can produce an effect opposite of what you want. Mainly, is that dreaming in a natural state we are often made aware of things about ourselves that are important and things that would have stayed hidden. Lucid dreaming is an experience that is enjoyable and something you should experience, but not all the time. Take a break in between sessions.
