You Can Achieve Dream Control
While most people sleep they dream (mini moves) and as mysterious as dreams are, they occur while we are soundly sleeping and without our control, at least it seems that way. Some of these dreams are pleasant while others are disconcerting and not so pleasant. We do know, however, it is possible to make controlling your dreams a reality. And this is achieved by learning about and inducing a state known as lucid dreaming.
Just what is lucid dreaming, exactly? Can anyone gain the ability of dream control? What is there to be gained by lucid dreaming? Read on for a look at dream control and how it can be helpful to you.
What Is Dream Control?
Dream control, (through the use of lucid dreaming), is your becoming aware of the fact you are in a dream state, and that you can actually control the happenings in your dream. As you are sound asleep, you recognize that the events you think are going on are actually dreams, and that you can control how the events transpire to even the ending.
There are people who do suffer from nightmares and frequently. This method is powerful and simple, and just the method they may need to relieve themselves of these disturbingly bad and distressing dreams.
Lucid Dreaming: Methods of inducement.

To obtain this, it is essential to begin while awake and the key is to remember to say something or do something while dreaming to trigger recognition that is necessary for the mind to be aware and allow us the ability to control the activities in our dreams.
Much of the time it's a matter of telling yourself your going to sleep and start to dream and will remember to say or do something specific in that dream. With this, instantly you will know you are dreaming.
In this method, particularly, dream control is known as mnemonic induction of lucid dreaming (MILD). This method was also discovered by a scientist call Dr. Stephen LaBerge, and with this method, your mind is in total control of what happens in the dream and its conclusion. There is nothing in your dream which can harm you, simply, it is all in your mind and you are in total control. The only limitations are in the scope of your imagination.
Keeping a dream diary is a good way to train yourself to use dream control. Keep a notebook and pen by your bedside so that when you awake from a dream you can write down anything and everything which you remember. After keeping your dream journal for a few week, you may find yourself having a dream which you have written down over again – except this time, you’ll be in the director’s chair for the experience!
Using dream control can allow you to banish your nightmares and have truly incredible adventures in your dreams. Anything you can imagine is possible when you are lucid dreaming.
Many experts agree however, that there can be a drawback to too much lucid dreaming, as with anything else doing with life, and that this can head towards the wrong results. It is always been a valuable thing to naturally dream, through it we learn many things about ourselves that would stay dead and buried otherwise. Have fun with your lucid dreaming.
