Lucid Dreaming Techniques for Beginners Now that we know the basic how, what are the fine points to entering either one of these lucid dream realms? Dream Recall One of the best ways to lucid dream is by practicing dream recall which is nothing but always trying to recollect your dreams in as much detail after you wake up from sleep. If you do this, you will remember your dreams and then whenever you have a similar dream, which happens quite commonly, you will become aware that you are dreaming. Dream Recall is done best by keeping a dream journal, or a diary to note down your dreams for referring to in the future. Many people find ways to learn to control their lucid dreams. As anyone who experiences lucid dreaming can attest to, it is simply an incredible skill and it's of little wonder that so many people are now beginning to show an interest. Admittedly, practically everyone will at some stage experience a lucid dream but can you imagine being able to enjoy one whenever you wish? Lucid Dreaming lets you do anything you've ever wanted. You can meet celebrities, have unrestrained erotic experiences, visit other worlds; if you can imagine it, it can happen in your Lucid Dream. Being able to have Lucid Dreams on a regular basis was until very recently a very difficult thing to accomplish.

People would spend as long as a year training themselves before having even the first lucid dream; others never managed to achieve it.

To do this you simply try to do something that would not be possible in every day life, such as walking through a wall or flying. If you can do these things then you know it is a dream and are aware of your dream state.

Keep doing reality checks every night and you will start to have lucid dreams. The second technique is defined as MILD. The state where you realise that you are falling asleep and you stop yourself.

It helps in dream recognition and dream interpretations awake dream. The best way when using this technique is to set your alarm so that you have around five hours sleep.

When your alarm goes off, lay awake for one hour trying to recall all the details of the dream which you saw in the last five hours. This is your REM sleep stage and thus you must take full advantage of it for lucidly dreaming. You can also use this technique with tactics like counting, chanting or imagining yourself climbing stairs as you go to sleep. This method of achieving lucid dreaming is best done in the afternoon or other times when you are not terribly tired. With advancement in technology one also gets to use devices such as dreaming masks and other scientific tools containing strobe lights and other instruments for inducing lucid dreams. Listen to binaural beats with headphones; this is a very effective way to achieve a lucid dream awake dream. This type of sound can alter your brain and bring you to the REM stage of sleep very quickly. This is where your lucid dreaming will occur. Combined with the self hypnosis sessions and affirmations to prepare your subconscious mind beforehand, becoming a lucid dreamer is something that everyone can now experience! Some Simple Ideas that May Produce a Lucid Dream There are those who claim that the odds of having a Lucid Dream will be increased by having certain foods close to bedtime. Some of these foods are orange juice, milk, cheese and mustard awake dream. Some other people have noted that pickles, ice cream, popcorn, and even fish have assisted them. These may not be as effective in aiding Lucid Dream occurrences. The idea that some people claim is that these foods containing high sugar, high fat, and even high acid content, prepare your brain for the session. They even claim that they prepare your brain to recall the Lucid Dream afterwards. The main issue is that these foods hamper the body and minds ability to produce restful sleep awake dream. Many people have used hypnosis to dramatically reduce the time they need to train their subconscious mind to engage in lucid dreaming. Many times merely one of two hypnosis sessions permit one to consistently remember all of their dreams, so they are prepared for lucid dreaming.

While in a lucid dream, it may happen that suddenly you are wide-awake. However, because of all the effort you've already put into conditioning your mind, if this happens to you, you'll have no problem reconnecting all the important details and once you're done so, you simply need to relax in order to go to sleep again awake dream. When you do, you'll be able to once again continue with your dream and upon waking up, you'll realize fully, the power of conscious dreaming awake dream. The last technique is called the Ace technique where you need to use binaural waves. These waves positions your brainwave frequencies to that needed for lucid dreaming. Set an alarm for a particular awakening hour after around 6 hours of sleep.

After this completes, get up slowly and walk around for ten minutes to keep you active or do some journal writing. Avoid doing things like watching TV, etc which actually do not wake you up.
