Have you ever had dreams where it seemed like you were orchestrating how the dreams went and felt like you could actually control them? Lucid dreams allow you to semi-consciously determine who is in the dream and what they are saying, sometimes, backing the dream up to change lines as you go. Lucid dreams let you control the outcome of the dream to fit the story you want.

You can have all kinds of lucid dreams which range from mystery to fairytale to romance. The possibilities are endless and what ever you want can happen in your dream.

Lucid dreams are obviously better than the normal dreams because you hold the reigns in them. You are the actor and the director in them. Sometimes these dreams can be so lifelike that you might get confused that you are dreaming or awake. There are times you need to check that it's a dream really and not real.

Words you see while reading won't come out clear and details on certain things may not seem right, such as a clock on your living room that isn't really there might appear when you are lucid dreaming. These could be signs you are lucid dreaming.

Lucid dreams can bring your deepest desires to life. What you can't do in real life you can do it in your dream. If there is someone you fancy and they are unattainable for some reason in real life, you can be with that person in your dream. In your lucid dream that person can be completely yours and even kiss you and be with you.

When you are dreaming and you know that you are dreaming all you need to do is change it. For instance you can dream about your favorite rock star falling in love with you and getting crazy about you. You can even choreograph your dream to the extent that your rock star talks to you, touches you and makes you feel loved. The only tool you need is your limitless imagination!

Lucid dreams can be experienced physically. Though the body needs to recuperate from the days work, the mind can still be conscious while your body drifts off to sleep.

Lucid dreaming is more easily accomplished by some people than others although it can be learned over a period of time if you can learn to control your mind and be more aware of your dreams.

Recalling your dreams as soon as you wake up is a sign of lucid dreaming because you are more aware of the details. Remember what happened as much as you can and write it down as soon as you get up. If you keep it handy, it is easier to remember to write it down and lucid dreams can fade quickly after you wake up. When you have the dream again, write down what you remember, since lucid dreams can often repeat themselves. You may eventually recall the most important details of the whole dream, especially if it is recurring.

There are many writers who use lucid dreams to their advantage. They use it to plan their books and stories. They like to direct scenes and characters and even decide their endings by lucid dreams. Many people use lucid dreams to do what they can't in real life. Maybe you want to travel the world or marry a handsome prince; you can do everything in your lucid dream. Many people even use lucid dreams to achieve their ambitions in the real world.

When you wake up from a lucid dream then make sure to summon up every aspect of the dream and once you do that then go back to sleep. If possible go to the place where you left your dream and carry on from there. These kinds of lucid dreams occur frequently and often repeat hence you can recall with greater clarity each time you try.

In the late hours of the night or the early morning when sometimes our sleep is broken, that is the time you can try lucid dreaming. On retrospection it may look as if you have been thinking but in reality your mind was dreaming lucidly and your body rested.

Most people are amazed at the ease that this can be mastered with. Self hypnosis can enhance lucid dreams and help in a detailed accurate recall.

Binaural beats is another shortcut which is a hi-tech development in the sound wave field. Here there are some unique frequencies which have the ability to put the two hemispheres of your brain in perfect sync with each other which makes your brainwaves resonate to them and you enter the state of lucid dreams in no time.
